New LPGA certificate reassures customers.

The LPGA has introduced MOT style certificates to help customers ensure that vehicles converted to run on LPG will be safe, clean and offer outstanding performance. With effect from the first of November, following a conversion, LPGA approved installers will be providing one of the new certificates to the vehicle owner. This will also provide essential information to insurance companies that provide cover without extra premium when the conversion is by an LPGA Approved Installer.

Leading by example.

The Director General of the LPGA, Tom Fidell has had his new X-Type Jaguar converted to lpg using the AG sequential injection system. This conversion is available from Nicholson-McLaren and can be installed by us as their agents here in the West Country.

Councils applaud LPG.

Both Milton Keynes and York Councils have shown their support for the drive for lower vehicle emissions. Milton Keynes has started a scheme whereby dual-fuel vehicles receive free parking permits for most of its central car parks. York are helping to promote eco-friendly lpg and the sponsors of its Park-and-Ride scheme - Norwich Union - are replacing their diesel mini-buses with cleaner lpg ones.

Vauxhall increase dual fuel options.

Vauxhall will be increasing their range of dual fuel vehicles in 2003. Available now or in the near future their model range will include the Zafira, Astra, Combo, Astravan, Astra Coupe, Vectra, Corsa and Corsavan. Vauxhall are convinced that the lpg business in UK is really gaining momentum and they wish to capitalise on this new potential market with factory engineered high-spec vehicles.

Go further for less with Ford.
